As has been revealed, the engine can reach 620 miles (about 998 km) thanks to a 200kWh battery pack. "He can travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco and return without recharging himself," said Elon Musk proudly under the watchful eye of everyone. The new Tesla Roadster is capable of accelerating a zero in 100 seconds and can only travel about 400 meters in 8.9 seconds. Its maximum speed will be set at 400 km / h.
Elon Musk says that this four-seater Roadster, by the way, is "a hard blow for gasoline cars," although for this he will also have to call people to invest in it. The new Tesla Roadster will have a price of 200,000 dollars (that is, 170,000 euros, which will be charged soon) in its base model, and a prior reservation of 50,000 dollars to join the waiting list.
